Yerin Park

She was an undergrad when a documentary on the Israel-Palestine conflict struck her to the core. That's when she decided to explore journalism, and bring change through her stories.

Yerin creates stories for TV—from high-profile weddings in Mumbai, to monks struggling to preserve sacred manuscripts in Ladakh.

“There are so many layers to this country, so many different problematics, you never get bored as a journalist.”

“When I was young, my parents made sure I spent my free time doing something creative. My mum would paint all over our walls, make our clothes, design our jewelry. She was an inspiration.”

“Be bold, don’t try to fit in a box. Read a lot about anything and everything.”

It's exciting to be a journalist in India. Yerin never stops learning and discovering new stories to tell.

To more stories. 🍷
